Dr. Sharon May

I serve as the Founder and President of Safe Haven Relationship Counseling Center. As a certified Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) therapist and supervisor, I specialize in attachment theory and the power of safe, connected relationships that serve as emotional “safe havens.”

I’m the author of Safe Haven Marriage and How to Argue So Your Spouse Will Listen. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of sharing this message on Focus on the Family, Family Talk, Life Today, and at conferences and trainings around the world. 

My passion is helping people strengthen their emotional bonds, heal relational wounds, and learn how to love and connect well. I look forward to walking alongside you as we grow together in wisdom, grace, and wholehearted living.

 

Dr. Sylvia Hart Frejd

I’m a Master Certified Coach (ICF), a Certified Spiritual Director, and a Biblical Counselor. For decades, I’ve had the privilege of coaching women from around the world—and equipping other coaches through training and mentor coaching—helping people become the person God created them to be.

My passion is helping women grow in emotional wholeness, spiritual depth, and purposeful, intentional living. My work integrates Christian counseling, spiritual direction, life coaching, and digital wellness—because I believe transformation touches every part of us: heart, mind, relationships, and daily rhythms.

Along the way, my work has been featured in The New York Times, Mashable, PBS and CBS Radio, CNET, and Fox News. But more than any title or credential, I’m a fellow traveler on the Becoming journey—still learning, still growing, and continually seeking to live and love well.
